Some travel costs to consider

Wedding ceremony at McKell Park, Darling Point with Jo Booth Sydney marriage celebrant and MC. Jo sitting on her Vespa getting ready to marry a couple in a simple elopement ceremony.

This won't affect everyone but there are a few other expenses that may come up.

$25 parking contribution – this applies to certain spots in/around Sydney CBD, Balmoral (if needed) and some parks (Royal Botanical Gardens) we all know what a rip off parking can be in Sydney.

Water taxis are also additional but so much FUUUNNNN

$50 late fee – being late can be a nightmare for your wedding vendors. So for any ceremonies that start 20 minutes, or greater, than the agreed starting time, I have to charge a late fee. We all love to make an entrance but there’s a cost to be ‘fashionably late'.

$60 official marriage certificate - if you'd like me to apply for your official marriage certificate through Births, Deaths & Marriages I can do this easily when I register your wedding. I just add $60 to your invoice. BUT you can apply yourself (same cost) after the marriage is registered (and I send you the details and what to do).

What about travel costs?

Sure, there are some costs for different locations/areas;

  • Penrith, Palm Beach, Cronulla - $50 travel fee – gorgeous spots but those roads take a while

  • Richmond, Windsor, Camden - $75 travel fee - covers travel time and killer road tolls

  • South coast (Wollongong to Nowra) and Blue Mountains - $150 travel fee - just covers my travel costs

  • Hunter Valley, Newcastle, lower South Coast and Southern Highlands - $200 travel fee - just covers travel costs

Elopement weddings with Jo Booth Sydney marriage celebrant and MC. Bride and groom standing on top of a rocky outcrop facing out to sea.

Don't worry, I love to travel and can go anywhere so let's chat.
